It has been quite a quite a while since a newsletter has been posted, but finally it is here.
For a small organization we have continued to help people and to declare the gospel of Jesus Christ and the love of God.

Two ministry trips were done and 2 van loads of supplies were taken. I
In San Miguel Allende, we did simple blood pressure monitoring in a plaza and some of our team shared the gospel and gave out gospel tracts. We provided approx. 125 children with Christmas packs.
We sent Christmas toys for 64 children to Nicaragua..
We helped World Missionary Press get gospel booklets out to a number of countries.
In FL, we helped 2 ministries.
In TX, we helped 1 ministry with supplies.
NWM partnered with Agape Language Center in Tallahassee, FL to hold a Hispanic Immersion Seminar. We were one of the presenters.
YOUR HELP IS REQUESTED and IT’S EASY
Do you have a Food Lion MVP card? You can link your MVP card to New Way Missions and each time you shop at Food Lion, they will donate a portion to NWM through their Shop and Share Program. In the past you had to do this each year, but now you do this only once. Here is how to do this.
Thanks again to all of you who have linked your MVP card with us and thanks in advance to you who will take time to link your card with us now.
MOVING ON TO 2008
March 27, NWM held it’s yearly Board Meeting.
Board of Directors are:
Linda Parker – FL
Jill Sprick – GA
Nancy Duke – SC
Sharon Keith – MD
In April, Nancy and I went to the Dominican Republic to help Dr. Diane Sabado with a health screening at the Mujeres Cristianas En Accion Conference in Puerto Plata. The conference was well attended and we were able to check a lot of women and provide health brochures. What a blessing to help and attend this conference.
Pastor Tony Diaz invited us to speak to the assembly of El Bethel Church in Higuey. To the left is a picture of Pastor Tony’s daughter, Paloma, dancing during the worship service.
To the right: Pastor Tony's family. (R to L: Anthony, Ruth, Pastor Tony, Joel, Paloma)
We also visited with Sister Jean and Pricilla in San Pedro and enjoyed a wonderful lunch and visit, then toured Centro Buen Pastor to see all the progress that has been made. The church is completed and now they are building a new school building. When this is complete they will move all the upstairs classes in the old building into the new building and will not have any of the smaller children dealing with the stairway.
We arrived at the Punta Cana Airport (pictured on the right) and rented a car for our travels. The airport is so beautiful I just had to include a picture for you.
Our journey took us to Higuey, La Romana, San Pedro, Santo Domingo, Santiago, and Puerto Plata plus the return trip. This was the most driving I have done in the D.R.
The Dominican Republic is a beautiful country and I invite you to go with me on my next journey there.
After all the storms this year, there is much need of help to repair homes, to minister the Word of God, and to show compassion to the people. Pastor Tony's home was damaged to the point that they had to move out until repairs can be made.
The love of God has been sown in our hearts by the Holy Spirit, so that we can sow it into the lives of others. Freely we received and freely we give. Amen.
In April, I started helping CardioStart International to set up and improve their accounting program and their registration and preparation materials for participants. They provide open-heart surgery and cardiac care for people in other countries who would never be helped without the free care given by CardioStart medical teams. You might like to check out their web site: www.cardiostart.org.
MINISTRY TRIP PLANNED FOR NOVEMBER
Lord willing, I will be leaving for Mexico on Nov. 6. I have been working for a couple of months, sorting and packing the things which have been donated and making Christmas packs for the children. Still have more to do, but I hope to have my van loaded once again. Donations to help with the cost of this trip and the children's Christmas packs would be most appreciated.
Please pray for my safe travel and that the Lord will open doors for ministry and use me during this journey. May the LORD receive glory from all that we do and say.
An Encouraging Word from John 11:25-26.
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?’
DO YOU BELIEVE THIS? I hope so, but if not you can believe what Jesus said today. For with the heart you believe and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
