June 11-19, it was back to the Dominican Republic.  This time Mack went for the first time and we did some ministry and had a few days of vacation on the beautiful beach in Juan Dolio.

The first few days we stayed with the Sabadoís in Santo Domingo.  Diane and I spent one day working in the medication room while Mack and Francisco did errands in Santo Domingo and Santiago.   The next day we helped with a medical out-reach in a refugee camp in San Cristobal.

Here Mack and Francisco are helping to unload the medical supplies.  Pharmacy tech is my usual roll at the medical out-reaches.

Below: Francisco gives us a view of the pharmacy.

Below: Diane gives instructions to med students.

On Wed. we drove to Higuey to spend some time with Pastor Tony & Ruth Mejia.  It was my privilege to speak to the assembly at El Bethel on Wed. night.  On Thursday, we spent the day sightseeing with Pastor Tony, Ruth, and Paloma.

Friday, we visited with Sister Jean and Sister Johanna in San Pedro de Macoris for lunch.  Then Sister Johanna took us over to Centro Buen Pastor to see all the progress of the ministry.  What a joy it was to see the church complete, since I had been there when only the foundation was done.  They could still use a church bell in the steeple.  Contact me if you know of one for donation and we will work out the shipping arrangements.

Our last 3 days were spent relaxing on the beach in Juan Dolio.  We were also able to visit Rick & Barbara Sucher and their family since they were living 5 minutes from where we were staying.   The Sucherís are missionaries who were in the Philippines and have relocated this year to the D.R.
